Oil only sorbent pads and rolls

Oil-only meltblown sorbents are identified by their white colour. They are made to absorb oils and petroleum-based products and to repel water, which is what lets them work outdoors, on wet ground and floating on open water where a universal grade would simply fill with rain.

Absorbency runs to 25 times their own weight, so a pad handles spills and drips well beyond what its size suggests. For larger areas the same material is supplied as rolls, bonded and perforated to any size needed, and for tight spaces the pillows in the same grade reach into sumps and troughs that a flat pad cannot.

Alongside the regular pads and rolls we manufacture two heavier constructions. Laminated SMS is a three-layer material with extra strength, lint-free and durable, though it can be slippery underfoot. Fine fibre is also three layers, low-linting and durable enough for foot traffic, with a non-slip surface, which makes it the choice for walkways and around machine bases.

The rolls are sonic bonded for wiping applications that demand increased tensile strength. The bonding process strengthens the fibres and produces a more durable product without compromising absorption, so the same roll serves both wiping and spill work. All meltblown pads and rolls are bonded and perforated at no extra cost.

Drum top covers in the same grade are pre-cut with hole cut-outs for any 30 to 55 gallon drum, giving a precise fit over a steel drum head. Standard items are listed below; any weight, size, colour or case count can be produced to your specification for a container order.
