Hazmat chemical spill pads and rolls

Hazmat pads and rolls are the grade to reach for when the spilled liquid is aggressive, caustic or not yet identified. They are made of 100% polypropylene and absorb most aggressive or caustic fluids, citric acid, hydrofluoric acid and sodium hydroxide among them, at up to 25 times their own weight in all liquids.

The colour does the warning. High-visibility yellow or green marks the material out as hazardous at a glance, so a responder can tell from a distance that the liquid on the floor is not a coolant drip, and so used material is not swept into general waste at the end of the shift.

Sonic-bonded dimples add tensile strength and fast wicking power. Bonding holds the fibres together when a saturated pad is dragged or lifted, and the dimpled surface pulls liquid in quickly rather than letting it run across the face of the pad.

Weights run light, medium and heavy in the standard 15 by 17 inch pad, with a 30 by 30 inch wide pad for larger footprints. Rolls come in 30-inch full width or as 15-inch split rolls, 150 feet long, in medium and heavy weights.

Hazmat drum top covers come pre-cut with hole cut-outs for any 40 to 55 gallon drum, so a chemical drum standing in the open is protected from the drips that collect around the bung. They are listed with the other drum top covers.

Pads and rolls in this grade can be produced in any colour, size and packing you specify. The standard items below are the reference specifications we quote from; a container order can depart from any of them.
